1. Wear mask in those highly contaminated areas or those high risk areas of inffection such as public transport and the lift... The mask should cover up your nose and down towards your chin. This will block particals such as droplets from saliva or bogey from your nose. It is encouragable that the one who's having flu should wear it.
2. Always wash your hands 1st before rubbing your eyes. This is because the most probable place of the entire body of getting the infection is the eyes, nose and ears. These are the areas where the skin doesn't protect them. Fluid from these areas would bring the virus into our system and therefore, if one's antibody is not strong enough, they will succumb to the sickness.
3. Kissing. No kissing should be allowed with any infected person, be it normal flu or swine flu. The exchange of fluid/saliva could definitely means transfering virus to each and another. Even a peck on the mouth is also unadvisable.
4. Wash your hands with soap when you return home. Remember the term: Wet, Scrub, Rinse, Cup, Dry. Wet - wet your hands thoroughly, scrub - scrub your hands with soap for the duration of 2 happy birthday songs and remember to scrub each and every corner of the hands especially the finger tips and the palm, rinse - rinse your hand till its soap free, cup - cup some water onto your hands and rinse the tap several times, this would ensure that the tap is clean from contamination too, dry - dry your hands.

5. H1N1 is a deadly virus and a way to kill it is through alcohol. 60% of alcohol based liquids could kill them and therefore, you could buy alcoholic wipes to wipe your hands. If you want to use them to wash your hands, 1st buy a 95% alcohol liquid from any pharmacy or chemist store, and add in water. The ratio would be 2:1, 200cc alcohol to 100cc water. Put it in a spray or dispenser and you have your homemade anti-virus killer.

6. To sanitize your home, don't use alcohol as the its quite expensive. Use bleach instead. The ratio would be 100:1, 1250cc water to 2 bottle cap of bleach. Wipe areas which are most touch by hands such as the door handle and the fridge.
7. Another way is to boost your antibody or immune system. This is the last protection that we have and is given by GOD so all we have to do is to make it stronger.

a) Nurture yourself by enjoying being thyself, destress, think of all the happy things in life. As according to scientist, when one's stress, the risk of getting a flu would be higher due to the fact that the body resistant would decrease. So go ahead, enjoy those good things in life and learn any form of meditation to destress.
b) Have sufficient hours of sleep. At least 6-10 hours for adults.
c) Exercise regularly. No explaination needed here as everyone knows that exercising could help the body in many sorts of ways, be it prevention to cancer or flu.
d) Last but not least, essential vitamins and minerals from fruits and vegs to increase the body's immune system.

There you go, just try to protect yourself from the virus, if you don't seem to care about preventions, because there had been death and nobody wants to die just yet, right??? Its better to be safe than sorry.

p/s: Another important note, after doing several test and research, the scientist found out that the highest probability of one getting affected by the virus is through the nose. Therefore, just becareful when someone is sneezing nearby you.
