RIP Elizabeth Taylor

By Kitty SonFlower:

I've always been a fan of 1920's through 1950's glamour, I've just always thought ladies looked like ladies then.  For some of you Youngin's you might associate Ms. Taylor with being the Late Michael Jackson's friend. The rest of us remember her as the Screen Siren that had husbands like accessories and left behind an memorable career. She passed away at age 79, after being in the hospital for 6 weeks of congestive heart failure. Her children was by her bedside. Ms. Taylor left behind her children, 8 ex husbands and a legacy that will be remembered. Taylor first gained stardom as a child and appeared in more than 50 films, including Cleopatra. She won Oscars for her performances in "Butterfield 8" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

In later years, she was a spokeswoman for humanitarian causes, notably AIDS research. That work gained her a special Oscar in 1993. She'll be remembered.
