Does "The People's Television Network" really listen?"

But Amanda,

Does "The People's Television Network" really listen when we the taxpayers speak or will we have to complain to, "It's all about the money all the time Mr. Wonderful Kevin O'Leary?" Read on.

Love your show!

Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk

P. S. When will you let Kevin close out a show playing his classic, vintage Les Paul guitar - he's pretty good you know! Found a YouTube video of him working his magic from a couple years ago but it had been disabled by request otherwise we'd have posted it.

Dear Madam/Sir:

Back on June 17 of this year we received (unsolicited) an e-mail from Ayesha Mirza a Marketing Manager with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in New York regarding about to be released, I’M FEELING LUCKY: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59 by Douglas Edwards. Ms Mirza said in part:

“I would be happy to send you an advance reading copy of the book should this sound interesting to you. Similarly, if you’d like to speak to Doug regarding Q & A, review or op-ed opportunities for blogs, newsletters, podcasts, or other media, please do not hesitate to let me know.”

To view Ayesha’s entire e-mail visit our June 17 posting, Life before Google became a verb!

We subsequently contacted the people at CBC’s Q and The Current who failed to take advantage of the offer so we were able to remind them in our July 17 posting entitled, Hate to gloat but you could have scooped the WSJ! As fate would have it, The Wall Street Journal did a feature article on, the book (The Beginning – Saturday, July 16) which included an online interview with Douglas Edwards.

You might wish to contact Ms Mirza to arrange an interview with Mr. Edwards for The Lang & O’Leary Exchange which would be a very good fit indeed given the content of your program. She can be reached at Ayesha.Mirza@hmhpub.com or telephone (212) 592-1121.
