Synapse has bought the rights to Curt McDowell's epic, strange Thundercrack!, which will see a release on DVD (uncut, hopefully) in 2010 for its 35th anniversary. There had been rumors that one of McDowell's family members was working on a restored version of the film a while back, and it looks like next year, it'll finally see the light of day.
