Magic's Magic 20 Years

Dear Readers,

We must never forget that being diagnosed with HIV does not mean you're going to die.
Magic Johnson has lived for twenty years (almost 10 for myself) with HIV and he continues to work tirelessly for the HIV community.
I for one admire his courage, remembering that his diagnosis came nearly two decades ago when so little was known about the virus and medication was not as it is today.
Please never forget that HIV does not take your life.
HIV gives you a new life.

So live it with purpose and determination.

Help eradicate HIV stigma which truly is the real killer.

Pirates of Caribbean " On Stranger Tides " - First Pictures ...and Videos !

The shooting of Pirates of Caribbean "On Stranger Tides" began in Hawai and thanks to the dozens of paparrazis and POTC fans which are out there we can share the first pictures and great videos, including new videos showing the shooting of some scenes!

Here is the synopsis released by Disney: "Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman (Penélope Cruz) from his past, but he's not sure if it's love or if she wants to follow him so she can find the lost Fountain of Youth. Things seem clearer when she forces him aboard The Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the infamous Blackbeard (Ian McShane). Here, Jack finds himself on a brand new journey and unsure as to who he should fear more, the woman from his past of the cutthroat pirate".

Jack Sparrow also did a special announcement at San Diego's ComicCon and if you've missed it, here it is!



So, let's begin with pictures showing the shooting of a scene with Geoffrey Rush, you won't see Jack on these but don't worry, you'll see him below. Click on the pics to see them in larger scale.

Now, as you've read in the synopsis Blackbeard's ship is called The Queen Anne's Revenge. May be you're interested to see how it looks like, right?

Marc always wears a Tallit on Shabbat - even as he marries out

Lest anyone accuse American Reform clergy of sloppiness in the preservation of Judaism – here’s clear evidence that even when the bride is not Jewish and even when sharing the spectacle with a Galach - the "rabbi" is adamant that the groom wear a Tallit.

 Other photographs indicate that while this "rabbi" himself also had a Tallit, his collaborator the Methodist minister did not. Shame that.

And nice to see that Marc sports a nice “Charedi-style” yarmulka. No kippa serugah for him.

Eli • This is a sad day for the Jewish community, despite this Reform "rabbi"'s officiation at the Clinton-Mezvinsky wedding. From a Jewish perspective of course there can be no such thing as a wedding with a gentile woman. She is considered his concubine, and he is still a single man. The sad thing, however, that they will have non-Jewish children even by Reform standards, since she didn't convert. So we have just lost an innumerable number of future Jews. The consolation of Hilary Clinton singing "Next year in rebuilt Jerusalem" while shoving her high-heel down Bibi Netanyahu's throat is all too ridiculous to contemplate. Shame on Mr Ponet for being giving legitimacy to this. Reminds me of a joke about a reform rabbi saying kaddish for a dog when offered a large donation to the temple.

Anniversary Haul

So, as you guys had already know, I'm a shopping freak who loves buying makeup with money isn't a problem. So this post is a haul video which features the things that were for me, by my boyfriend, well, not exactly like he bought it for me (cuz I'm doing all the shopping alone), but more yeah, these babies are from him.

Introducing you to the loot!!! I just love these shopping bags/shopper bag/whatever bag. Am collecting them. They are great for putting in stuff and turn to a gift bag for people's presents.

So, I've got a Kiss Kiss Lipstick from Guerlain and a free sample lotion. I love this lipstick a lot ^__^

Lipgloss from Chanel. Don't really know the exact true name cuz its in Japanese I'm lazy to check them up. So google them please if you are interested!!

Lipstick from Anna Sui. I like the packaging. Not so much on the product though. I wanna buy more of their products cuz they are just too cute to resist.

I don't think I need to introduce each and everyone of them, right?? Their names are clearly in the picture. Sigh, I'm getting so lazy to check their names and type each one of them. Typical me!!

My favourite part of the shopping trip is these 2 products because I was looking forward to buy them. And boy was I totally enchanted by them, love their smell, their colour, their application, their packaging, just practically every bits.

So yeah, this is just a tip of an iceberg cuz more hauls/purchases will be coming my way. Sigh.. That's why I say, I can't commit to a buying ban. So I'll just stick to a low buy (well, these were bought before I swear to my low buy).
