The Grand Cake

Having a birthday celebration for Jecg (the girl in the middle as shown in the picture below) and its been a long time since I last met all these people... Let's see... around 3 to 4 months?

Having dinner at Tony Roma's which was quite packed during the weekend but they obviously booked a place, so our sitting was quite cosy and comfortable to fit the all of us.

I was having Beef Burger with swiss mushroom and pickle. Really, Tony Roma's never seem to fail serving great and delicious food as well as the huge portion that I only managed to finish half only and sadly had to throw away the rest :(
Lovely lovely fries I should say (and the only fries that gets my praises is from Burger King and no other places). Love the beef patte which was really chewy (not the sort of tough chewy but more of un-tiring chewy) and I just love how the cheese melted on the mushroom which makes them sweet and tangy.

Pork ribs that my friend was having. A whole slack of their signature ribs with original sauce. That's champs (mashed potato and chives by the way) and some sad looking brocolli.

My vegetarian friend opted for this plate of humongous looking Asian style salad with the occassional sprinkle of deep fried wonton skin. Tasted this and like it a lot where the hint of sweetness (from the drizzle of sweet chilli sauce, I think) really complement the crunchiness of the cabbage (and other stuff in there).

This is call potato skin with a dallop of melted cheese on top. Didn't get to try this, but according to my friend, it wasn't that crispy like the other shop's.

Here you are, the totally big and huge fruit cake. I don't know why blogger couldn't upload my picture in the correct position, therefore, please tilt your head to see it (sorry about that!).

This cake was really good with a spongey interior and the wonderful array of fruits on top. I was quite full at that time to fully enjoy the taste of the cake (yeah, I left half of the cake to throw too!!!)

The amount of people turned up. Yeah, the birthday gal was really pretty, right??

One last picture of the huge ass cake and the lovely lady. The present to her from me?? A big box of Thorntons Chocolate.

Mini Me

Hey, this still works for me sometimes.....

(note the cool dog in this clip.. ps I LOVE DOGS)

Need To Keep Calm (This Post Is Not Dedicated To Haters)

I totally am fuming and my head is going to burst of anger. Can't tell you what happen because people will tend to think that its just a minor problem which I don't need to get pissed off with.

But I just can't believe that this actually happen and I was there. How I wish that I could close my ears from those sacarstic words from the mouth but still, I can't seem to stop them from getting to me.

I really wish that I could find a way to remain serene and be a bit more mature to get over those words of sharp edges. In the end, I made a fool of myself by wallowing in my self-pity and writing this post to help me heal the wound.

**praying now**

Optimism of mine, where art thou??? Come back please.

Argh!!! I need to control myself. Part of those sentences are right and 60% of them are untrue, but what can I do, I can't control other's mouth from hurting me, can I?? But how on earth could you babble something evil about me so fluently without giving it a second thought that your words would hurt me deeply??

OK, I am a grown up. I will handle this professionally and with good etiquette. I need to get a grip of my emotional side and not letting it run freely.

**inhale.....exhale.....inhale....exhale.... try to smile...***

**But fail**

Glass of wine please???

More Fernando Arrabal from Cult Epics: DVD Update 24 October

While I'm not a huge fan of Fernando Arrabal, I'll likely check out Cult Epics' Arrabal Collection, Volume 2, which includes some lesser-known works from the director, including Car Cemetery with Juliet Berto and The Emperor of Peru with (um) Mickey Rooney. I normally wouldn't list something like the new Nia Vardalos film, but I guess since I've listed everything else IFC has been releasing, it's only fair. I believe First Look will be unloading Herzog's Bad Lieutenant in theatres sometime late November, with its DVD and Blu-ray release in February 2010. All for now.

Boys Do Cry

Are boys the best actors in the world or what?

I should know because I still do that.

And it usually works. hehehehe

Outfit Of The Day

I think I'm getting boring every minute. But I really don't have the time and money to update my wardrobe. Oh wait, there's ebay ^__^

Red off-shoulder top: Kookai, White vest: United Colours of Benetton, Skirt: Ebay, Belt: Next, Opague tights: Topshop

I really am getting lazier to update my blog. I know, I shouldn't act like that. Its like I don't care about everything anymore. Please spank me hard to wake me up!!!

Oh yeah, and I do mean you, HATERS, bring some fire on!! (allowing anonymous comments to perk me up)
