The Onion, an American-based site with a reputation for satire, is reporting in a recent article (complete with photographs) Ben Bernanacke, Chairman of the United States Federal Reserve showed up in a Seward, Nebraska bar (Elwood’s Corner Tavern) allegedly proceeding to become royally inebriated during and after which he described the current state of the US economy in graphic detail you’ll unlikely find anywhere else.

While the story is replete throughout the blogesphere, ne’er a mention can be found in the mainstream media. Why? Is it being deliberately repressed by the major networks? Check it out.
