It's safe to say Anderson Cooper won't be seeing Chris Brown's new movie, 'Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man,' when it hits theaters in April.

Chris Brown in a chick flick? Anderson Cooper doesn't see it.

The CNN anchor had a few choice words for the R&B singer during a "Ridiculist" segment on his show "AC 360" after learning that Brown -- who pleaded guilty to the savage 2009 beating of Rihanna -- is set to star in the new film adaptation of Steve Harvey's book "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man."

"Ladies and gentlemen, particularly ladies, Chris Brown has been cast in a movie," Anderson said. "And not just any movie, it's a romantic comedy based on a self-help book about relationships.

"And I, for one, can not imagine why this did not happen sooner because if there's one thing you can say about Chris Brown, who's currently on probation for viciously assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, he just oozes romance."

Cooper went on to recap Brown's career since the incident, detailing his probation, violent outburst at "Good Morning America" and his recent homophobic rants.

"This movie is a romantic comedy, which is perfect since the one thing Chris Brown does better than romance is comedy," continued Cooper. "Just ask the folks at 'Good Morning America.' Remember a few months ago when Chris Brown trashed the place, broke a window and scared all the hair and makeup people? That was hilarious."

Cooper ended his rant with a final jab at the singer.

"We don't know what role Chris is going to play, but I know one thing is for sure, that with Chris Brown attached to the project, the movie is sure to be an unforgettable hit."

As expected, Brown took to his Twitter after the show aired to defend himself, while also passive-aggressively bashing the respected journalist.

"I guess people need ratings!!!" he wrote. "It's cool. Much love!"
