Dear Ms Urias:

Thank you for your reply.

For the benefit of readers, we posted the article, "Legalized highway robbery at Winnipeg Provincial Law Courts Building" (May 24, 2011) sending a copy to Premier Selinger and Minister of Justice Andrew Swan.

In it, as a habitue of the Law Courts doing research, we bemoaned the fact photocopying costs 25 cents a page and, to make matters worse, there is no change machine to be found anywhere on the premises. We wondered aloud how Shoppers Drug Marts could offer the same service to every Tom, Dick and Harry off the street for 10 cents/page yet still turn a profit?

Last time we were at the Law Courts (June 2, 2011) it was same old, same old nothing had changed - not that we really expected it would.

You know a provincial election must be coming (October this year) when politicians begin answering your letters. BTW, Mr. Selinger is our MLA.

Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk
